I was recently told that I have an internist's personality. What the hell does that mean?? Is this good or bad??

I don't think there is an "internist personalit" -- it all depends on who said this to you. If it was a surgeon, it was probably an insult!

I'm NOT saying this is you by any means, but whenever I've heard the phrase "internist's personality," it has always referred to someone who was very anal, OCD, and rather 'fact-oriented.' I think it, depending on the context, can be a compliment or a slam. I was recently told I had a "family practicioner's personality," and I took it as a compliment.
