I'm a rising 4th year med student interested in dermatology. My preclinical grades were excellent and my step 1 score was >240 but my clinical grades have been so-so. I got one c and b's and a's. I know derm is very competitive. Am I competitive at all anymore?

If you have a strong overall application in other ways...LORs,research,etc you should be competitive.No one can really answer your question,the only thing to do apply and see what happens.Be prepared with backup plans just in case.
