It can be anything; the more graphic the better.
(I want to know if there will be anything that might possibly disturb me in the future.)
Thanks a bunch!

i'm doing my neurosurgery rotation right now and dissapointingly so, there's not much gruesomeness to it... i've seen a good variety of cases including a few posterior fossa (post. fos decompression with duroplasty, acoustic neuroma transection), a ruptured aneurysm of the ant co. art, and some other mass resections... with the advent of image guided craniotomies, there isn't much gruesome-ness to it anymore... incisions are rather small and a lot of work is done throught he microscope... a good portion of neurosurgery is also spine work, which quite frankly is boring and not very gruesome...the most disturbing thing i saw was an awake craniotomy in a pt. w/ seizure disorder... that was bizarre... i don't know of any sites that have pictures with neurosurgery, but i suspect that if you do a google image search for things like posterior fossa decompression, or image guided craniotomy, etc... you may find some pictures... :-) hope this helps...
