WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.....the practical was fairly easy, but still feels like a great weight has been lifted off of the shoulders. BSI and scene safety have been embedded into my brain for all of time.
Anyone else take the EMT-D practical today? Any hard scenarios in the medical or trauma?
Congratulations!!!
Just today I took the NREMT practical and I too feel a great weight has been lifted.
It made it a bit harder that I work with some of the people that were doing the testing, as I REALLLY REALLLLYYYY did not want them to think I was an idiot!
Not to mention I had only 5 hrs sleep in 2 days before I took it and just got off a 12 hr shift to boot.
BUT IT'S DONE!
I was so happy when I finished my NY EMT and my NY EMT-P tests and practicals...
then I took the national regristry and that thing was a bitch.
congratz on getting through, you'll remember the patient assessment for the rest of your life.... :)
