Just wondering does anyone know anything about JMH in Miami FL???? Is it competitive? How many residents do they take per year? Do you have to speak spanish to get residency there :)?

The IM program at Jackson Memorial has a great web site with a lot of information, maybe will answer some of your questions. I knew someone who did a Prelim year there and did not speak Spanish when he started, although he said he had to pick up at least some basic medical Spanish pretty quickly. From what I understand, you get some good cases -- people come from all over the Caribbean and Latin America to be seen there. Probably some interesting tropical medicine type stuff that you might not see in other places.
