Hello-

Can anyone tell me their experience with these modalities. I suppose from the standpoint of the radiation oncologist they may be as boring as, say, endovascular brachy. I am most interested in the indications for use in brain tumors, when and why to use this treatment form. Also are there such devices for tumors like bronchial carcinoids or esophageal tumors administrated by NG tubes?

Thanks

Gliosite was developed by someone from hopkins and its again not an interesting procedure; nor do I think its really turning out to be something that's doing a heck of a lot- it has its role but its no breakthrough (and neither is gliadel). Ive seen mamosite and done breast brachy-i think both will go the way of the dodo as highdose IMRT/partial breast irradiation comes into its own.
