What would you guys think is required to get an internal medicine residency position at Hopkins, for a U.S. med school graduate?
what board scores do you think are needed?
how much is AOA needed?
should you try to honor every single class during medschool?
how much is research required?
should you have to do an elective rotation there in increase chances/

I can answer a few of the questions.

No research is required, but it would help if you had other weak areas of your application such as non AOA or low scores.

Nevertheless, I got in without ANY research. It is hard to put a number on board scores and grades. Just do your best.

I think an away rotation can help if you meet the right people.

PM me if you want more specifics.

I had research but nothing published.
How do you know what helped if you had it? Very top grades and board scores. Great letters and one from someone that is a "favorite son".
No elective rotation. Wait listed for med school there.
