For IM residents, whats the medical reference of choice, Current Medical Diagnosis and Treatment or Harrison's Principles of Internal Medicine? Thanks for the help.

As a reference, definitely Harrison's. Note that uptodate is rapidly becoming very popular as well. CMDT is better for someone in practice, not as a general reference text.
