The site gives full reviews of cameras based on function, looks, portabiity, etc. Very thorough. The best part is that you can compare pictures of the same object taken by two different cameras.

I actually like steves more than DPreview though i always cross reference the downsides of each camera to get a better grasp of what is good and what isnt

I actually looked at all 3 of those sites before I bought mine. :) I always find it best to get different opinions.

www.megapixel.net has detail reviews
www.pbase.com has many sample pictures from regular users, sortable by camera
www.imaging-resource.com has very thorough reviews
also try www.dpreview.com 's forums for good discussions
