Has anyone use www DOT allofmp3 DOT com? Apparently it is a foreign mp3 download site that pays royalties, but charges the user much less than iTunes...I am not promoting the site, just trying to see if anyone knows about the legality of this approach (there are other sites like this one, like clubmp3, i think, that charge by the megabyte of data transfer).
For that matter, has anyone ever heard of the RIAA going after file downloaders? As opposed to distributors.
This is all sheerly out of curiosity, and should not be taken to mean that I am interested in breaking the law, or stealing copyrighted material. Thanks.

This is the best site ever! Why? First of all, they charge 1 cent per meg :D So you end up paying aprox. $0.70 for a full albom. And second, they always have latest CD's up for download.

ALLOFMP3 is a great site.
If you are concerned about the legality of the site, check out ALLOFMP3 is Legal (http://www.fadmine.com/cheapest-best-mp3s-allofmp3.html) at FadMine. Site says that the RIAA condones the site, because it has gone after sites reselling ALLOFMP3 songs but left the site alone.

Yeah, click on english in the upper left hand corner of the site. I would recommend downloading allofmp3 explorer, as it gives you much better control on your downloads. I have like 4 gigs from there already! Hurry though, it's going up to 2 cents per download on Jan. 15, 2005. Still dirt cheap in my opinion.
