Andrew

There are some alternatives out there, but honestly, I do not see a reason right now to get concerned about a virus in PDAs. That may change soon, but for now I think we are ok.

regards,
lf

I haven't heard of serious virus attacks on PDAs yet. I hope my desktop antivirus software detects any Palm infected files before the sync. However, I'm concerned with the newer PDAs that connect directly to the internet via WiFi. This may be a mechanism for viruses to infect the PDA. That would be bad. Very bad. :scared:

Nice links, Richard. I agree with Andrew, since my PDA is also Wi-Fi, and this is really a big open door for malicious code. I heard earlier this month a worm for Pocket PC was on the loose...

I'll keep my eyes open. I can't imagine having to install a firewall, antivirus, anti-pop-ups etc on my PDA as well :-/
