ZpackSux 07-21-2005, 09:25 AM Claforan or Rocephin IV and Erythromycin to cover atypicals. For more serious illness... like in CF.. Piperacillin with Tobramycin. Or Ceftazidime IV with Aminoglycoside. For MRSA, add Vanco.. And a consult from clinical dietician to feed the child. Beta-Lactam ring is probably the culprit. Ceftazidime seems to have the worst odor..cuz it emits gas as it's reconstituted. You go around and sniff cat pee? |
