On Thurs, I get done at 9:30. On Tuesday, we have a huge break--we have a few hours of class in the morning and a few in the afternoon...we get done at 4:30. Something I'm curious about...Do you guys all have two hour exams for almost all of your classes at night?? It really sucks. Our med chem exams are from 7:30-9:30 at night, so when we have exams, we all are at school from 7:30AM to 9:30 PM. Talk about exhausting. ForgetMeNot 10-30-2004, 08:35 PM Something I'm curious about...Do you guys all have two hour exams for almost all of your classes at night?? It really sucks. Our med chem exams are from 7:30-9:30 at night, so when we have exams, we all are at school from 7:30AM to 9:30 PM. Talk about exhausting. I've never heard of exams at night during pharmacy school. It definitely sounds exhausting! We had all of ours during the 8-10 am block. pharmagirl 10-30-2004, 10:40 PM I'm really glad we don't have exams at night! Ours are typically during the scheduled class period. Some exams take longer than an hour so we have to either meet an hour early or meet during a 2 hour block sometime during the week that we don't otherwise have a class. dgroulx 10-31-2004, 05:20 AM All of our exams are at 7:00pm at night. Our classes are 50 minutes long, which isn't enough time for an exam. The on-campus students are done with lectures at 1:40pm every day and done with labs around 5:00pm. This gives them some time to study before hand. I'm at a distance site, which means that I don't see lectures until 3 hours later. My first one is at 12:20 and my last one finishes at 5:30pm. My labs are scheduled during the day during the time that my lectures are aired. Generally, I'll get home after 9:00pm on exam days and still have all the lectures to watch for that day. I usually save some for the morning, but I'm always behind and exhausted. Next week I have 2 exams instead of the usually 1. It's Sunday and I'm still behind 3 lectures from last week, though one of them is just an exam review. dontworry 10-31-2004, 06:18 AM My exams are always given during the class time. Most of my classes meet for more than 50 minutes, so test time is not a problem. The only class that meets for 50 minutes is Immunology and the teacher makes the tests appropriate length so that we can finish in the class time. |
