Hi, this question is for my friend, she just wants to know if there really is a new section to the english section of the exam, the Essay :scared:.

She is just curious if the rumours were true because on the pcat webpage, http://tpc-etesting.com/pcatopt/ they don't mention anything about an essay.

Thanks  :)

my essay question for oct pcat was:

describe a solution to the problem of voter apathy.

i talked to others and they got asked something: do you believe in the extra-terrestrial?

thats not fair.. they should standardize it so that there is only one essay topic..
I'd have no idea what to write about voter apathy.. but i'd have tonnes to say about extra-terrestrials

But then you'd know what question would be asked and you'd have an advantage... Why is THAT fair? ;)

Well I think they meant the same question on all the tests given at that administration....not the same question every administration.

I guess both would lend themselves to fairly creative answers though, don't you think? =)
