That sucked anyone else agree? Man I felt well prepared after we went through OKU 7 and Miller Review, but it wasn't enough. I think that you just have to have the experience in the OR before you can answer those questions.

the OITE is never much fun. i never did understand why there has to be 275 questions (other than to spread out the bell curve i guess); it would only take about 100 to reveal how much of a dumb**** someone is. it is completely uncessary to blow 5 good hours on a saturday, and my attention span just can not tolerate 275 questions.
i did notice quite a few more repeat questions on this year's test as compared to the 2 previous years.

Yeah, I agree. It's too long and it blows. There's a lot of questions about lame stuff that you would get right only if you happened to remember a specific article about something like how long to safe driving after an ankle fracture (let's see, was it 6 weeks or 9). And how many salvage osteotomies are done after bad SCFEs a year??? I certainly haven't done any, and we do a lot of peds.
