hello does anyone know of the reputation of mount sinai at elmhurst IM program?

I rotated there as a Sinai intern some years ago. Another SND'r, Apollyon, was there more recently and I believe actually in the Elmhurst program. It is an overload, understaffed, typical NYC public hospital with the greatest range of pathology I think I've seen anywhere. The attendings are for the most part NYC employees with appointments with Sinai. Thus, their primary interests seem to be teaching and patient care and not necesarily making money in private practice. I thought they were some of the best teachers I worked with in NYC. The program is heavily IMG/FMG loaded but its graduates seemed to have a pretty good success rate when looking for fellowships. As a point of comparison I thought the program was orders of magnitude better than the other Sinai affiliated medical program at the Bronx VA.
