Hi guys
so i took my first topscore exam, and I feel like the o chem on topscore is alot harder than the ochem on kaplan, or actually, topscore seems to include alot of rxns i havent even heard of! I actually never took o chem, and basically taught myself it from the kaplan book, but now im starting to get scared cuz i bombed the o chem on topscore. I got a 20 on kaplan, but a 17 on topscore. I know topscore is alot harder though, so do you think i shouldnt worry about those extra rxns i havent even heard about, and just focus on what i learned in kaplan'? do you think this will be enough to score in the 20s on the actual exam? please let me know!

I also felt Topscore's Orgo was much harder than anything else. But, don't worry, the real thing is much, much easier. I constantly scored 16 and 17s on topscore and ended up with a 22 on the DAT. A piece of advice....learn all the SN2 SN1, ortho, para, meta stuff...you will see it on the test... You can bet on it!!

Totally agree, I was getting between 14 and 18 on topsocre ochem and gen. chem; ended up with both 20 on DAT chemistry sections.
