Heylo pre-pharmers! :)

I live in San Diego and I was wondering if I should drive or fly up north for the UOP interview. My UOP interview is on Fri Jan 21 at 12pm. USC interview is on Sat Jan 22 at 9 35am. I am thinking how convenient it will be to have my car up north since if I fly I will probably be flying in at Oakland or San Jose via Southwest, and need to hop on the AmTrak to get to Stockton.

Thanks!
Tami

I am a little confused...do you have two interviews? On the 21st and 22nd?

If you drive up for the UOP interview on Friday, will you be driving back for the USC interview or can you drop the car off at a friend's place who then can drive it down for you while you catch a flight to LA? (Sounds strange but I have friends who did that) If you don't have anybody up north who can do this for you, my suggestion is to fly. Driving 7 or 8 hours up to Stockton and then down to LA will take a huge toll on you and how you will perform at both interviews. My advice is to gulp it down, fork out the extra plane fare and fly. The investment will be worth it. By the way, is there a particular reason you want to fly into Oakland or SJ? As far as I know, Southwest has a terminal in Sacramento as well, and it would be a little closer than say SJ. Good luck.

Hi!
I also have UOP on Jan 21st and USC on Jan 22nd. I was planning to drive up to Stockton on the 21st and then leave right after the interview so I can make it back for the USC interview. I live in LA though so it won't be as bad. However, I found out today that there is a part of the Interstate 5 fwy that will be closed if the weather gets bad so now I'm thinking about taking a plane. However, I haven't worked out details on transportation from the airport to housing and from housing to school. Just wanted to drop a line to let you know that you're not alone! Good luck!

In light of the current situation, I would take a boat. ;)
