What kind of workweeks do average ortho docs encounter?? Is it as demanding as general surg, more? as demanding as other more specialized surgeries like neuro or cardio? I assume trauma pts means being on call/late night hours are frequent???

ortho is a ton of work in residency. in private practice, it's not too bad, but there is a substantial trauma component to being on-call.
