Is it possible for me to participate in the Match once again for PG Y 1 or for PGY 2 position ,after completing my intern year in a program which on probation ? .Is it absolutely necessary to have the Program Director's permission to do this ?. Thanks. :confused:

it is NOT absolutely necessary to have the Program Director's permission,
as I know several 1st/2nd year IM guys who applied again, and MATCHED.
The trick is, they were all GOOD applicants.
