View Full Version : Quick Question for anyone at NYU
FaytlND 03-20-2005, 08:15 AM I was wondering if anyone at NYU could help me out. I remember from my visit someone asking about whether or not the Profs hand out lecture notes/slides, but I can't remember the answer. Also, I thouht I remember something about a transcription service, but I am not sure, as that might have been somewhere else...at this point a lot ofschools have blended together. Anyone hat can help, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
MissionComplete 03-20-2005, 09:05 AM So to answer both your questions YES and YES. We get books of the slides/notes and we have a free transcription service.
But why the sense urgency in the question? Are you tetering between two schools and this is going to make it or break it? To be honest, this little perk means nothing compared to our amazing match, and our second-to-none clinical experiences at Bellevue. So if you are not sure where to go look at the important things and not these little trivial details.

To answer your concern, its not something that is going to affect my decision, as I am almost positive I will be at NYU next year, for many other reasons besides this. I was just curious, that is all. Thanks for th info, though.
And as an aside, if I was not sure about attending, these comments would not make me very excited to attend. If you are trying to persuade, please stop being incredibly condescending.

Please don't take my comments as condescending at all, that was neither my intent nor a desired reaction. I'm just trying to bring out that sometimes people can't see the forrest for the trees.
