Whats the deal with being an intern at the various hospitals if you are an interstate graduate?
Is the RAH invariably filled? How about FMC and QEH?
Which do you believe to be the best for surgery/physicians training or whatever?
What are the big differences in lifestyle and quality of teaching??
Thanking you in advance

I will defer to those who have attempted it (although I'm not sure we have any amongst the regulars here). One factor which will be considered is your citizenship. If you are a SA grad, Aussie citizen you should have top choice of intern placements...and would most likely get RAH or Flinders. Non citizens are second to last, before non-citizens with a non-Aussie degree. Those in the former category have invariably worked at QEH.
Since I haven't worked at any of the mentioned hospitals except Flinders I dont' feel qualified to answer and will defer to others who may have more experience.

 depends on what you're interested in. The "best" is a highly subjective definition. For me it was the reimplantation of several fingers...for someone else it might be a transplant or CABG.
