There is a new book by Preston called Demon in the Freezer. I think it is about Anthrax.
Other good micro books are:
1. Secret Agents: The Menace of Emerging Infections by Madeline Drexler
2. The Coming Plaque by Laurie Garrett
I haven't had the chance to read them yet, but I hear they are very good.

bananaface 05-16-2005, 09:18 AM If you are bored you should study for the medchem qualifying exam. You could also buy your book for the calculations class early and work through it.

bananaface 05-25-2005, 02:30 AM For those of you who want to, you can also check out UW's own student forum at www.UWpharmacy.com We just added a class of 2009 area. There will be all kinds of information posted for your class, usually starting a week or two prior to the Pack Forest retreat in the fall. For now, you can meet current students and ask questions to current UW students.
