Hi,

My boyfriend has prelim approval for a rotation at North Shore Hospital in Manhasset in July, but they just told him they don't have housing...

Does anyone know the area and can you recommend a cheap place to stay close by? Also, has anyone had experience at North Shore and can tell me what to expect - this is his first ER rotation and he'll be to applying to ER residencies this year.

use www.craigslist.com to find rotation housing.

CLick on your city (or a city near your elective) in the column on the right.
Click "sublets and temporary housing."
Search using the name of the university or the name of the town.

North Shore: 3 year program, community hospital. Lots of research secondary to lots of money. Very exclusively private population (ie suits to work etc). Out in the boonies (long island).
