A friend had an aortic dissection, went in for surgery, got it fixed and got started on CCB and B-blockers. When he returned home, his vision in his left eye improved drastically from very bad myopia to moderate myopia and the vision in the right eye improved a tiny bit. Anyone hear about this or have any idea why it might happen? His opthamologist said he has seen it a few times with people going through heart surgery/hear-lung machine.
Thanks.

B blockers lower intraocular pressure by reducing aqueous humor production. Maybe that had something to do with it?
