To anyone KCOMers that may know? I'll be entering as a first year this fall at KCOM. I am looking to get involved with some research at KCOM during my first, at the most around 4 hours a week.

Everyone tells me how much of a difference it can make when applying to allo residencies? Anybody have any thoughts on that?

Also, is there really a summer session at KCOM? If so, how are we suppose to take advantage of that summer to do volunteer work or abroad or research programs?

There is plenty of research to do, if you want. I would get through first quarter first, though.

Yes, we do have a summer quarter. We get 1.5 months of summer vacation during first quarter and not much more after that.
