Hello,

I love this website and its forums and I am so glad I found it. My husband is a IM resident about to complete his residency in a very competitive program. He happens to be the only international grad in his class and has done well for himself. He has a great work ethic and takes pride in it, and Medicine is his passion. I see the sparkle in his eyes when he talks about some interesting thing he read in NEJM or something. And I am here to support him every way I can.

I wish I really could elaborate about our dilemma here but I am worried the program ( a very popular one) or his colleagues (residents) might see this post. His is a very rare case and in case any of his colleagues read this, they could spot who it is immediately. I actually did write the entire thing down yet erased it just now. Maybe I am being a bit too paranoid and I apologize, but if someone could help me I would really appreciate it. Any cardio fellows or people who matched today or last year? I would love to know your opinion on something. Alot of it is regarding the fellowship he was offered and what we should do etc etc.

Please help me out folks.. Thanks so much in advance. I will email you, or chat works well for me too. my email address is shyness2578@yahoo.com

Thanks again!

Hi again,

Was really hoping someone (doesnt have to be a cards fellow per se but someone with a knowledge of IM fellowships?) could help me out with our problem. But I do know that a certain incentive might be necessary hehe...I will bake you a dozen of my world famous chocolate chip cookies and send them to ya if you kindly help me out.....hows that? :D I know how insatiable cookies can be to a overworked resident or fellow....

Anybody anybody?? Please? thanks in advance! ciao.

I doubt you will get a serious response since you haven't actually posted a question. I'd have to guess he just matched into cards but you're unsure of something.

Try to post the question as best you can, even though you can't get into specifics.

I agree, people will be more willing to help if you post more info. You just have to bite the bullet to get what you need
