Hey I've been doing kaplan's practice problems for QR and they seem pretty tough...atleast the many word problems...these things seem ridiculously hard. I'm whizzing through the algebra pretty fast...is the QR on the real DAT like this? Mostly algebra and trig? Or are there a fair share of word problems? Is the real QR more similar to topscore? I need some advice...thanks!

I don't have an answer to your question, but I thought I would let you know that I emphathize with you. Math is usually a strong point for me, but the problems on Topscore seem to be pretty darned hard. I'm also hoping that the real thing isn't this hard...

Dont worry too much about QR on real DAT. I had those QR subject test of Kaplan also. I think practice #7 is close. Even though I haven't taken the real exam, but all of my friends who took it said that it's whole lot easier and more simple. I did take Kaplan practice test 2 days ago, it is simple like they said. Just make sure ur calculations right and u move on fast.

Best luck 2 u on June 29th (correct me if the date is wrong) Mine is on July 10, but im so not ready :( Maybe I put it off for 1 or 2 more weeks depends on how i do on practice test.

The QR on the real thing is much easier than Kaplan's from what i've heard. Trust me... I have a math minor GPA of 3.7 and even then i get lost in some of their word problems.

What is the deal with knowing probability? Some of those equations I've never even seen before. For those of you who have taken the actual DAT, what's the deal? Do we have to know probability as much as I see questions posted on here? (quite a bit) Thanks...
