Anybody know anything about U of Wisconsin? How competitive (Can a normal guy w/ avg grades and avg boards get in)? Do grads match into cool fellowships? Cool cases? Friendly environment?

The University of Wisconsin has a wonderful work environment. The people are all very nice and easy to work with. Lots of great research. Clinical teaching as well as the didactics are top notch. Program director is awesome, a real plus. As far as fellowships goes, people do very well. Madison is a great place as well. It is a nice place to live and train. Would recomend it very highly.
