Is anyone else from the Georgetown SMP applyging to MCW, or has applied in the past for former physios? I am wondering about the secondary question:

"Please enter name of Dean or Department Chair Letter Writer" which is found under the "Please indicate your Graduate School status" when you check "recently accepted".

Would this be Dr. Myers or someone else? I am going to call the SMP office on Monday, but I figured I would try here first just in case anybody happened to know.

I think that Dr. Myers told us we could use his name last year. You might as well just e-mail him and wait till he responds. There's no rush to get the secondaries in anyway, since they're most likely going to wait for your grades from Fall. Good Luck.

Tacrum, I actually called MCW to ask them this same question before I saw your post.

I'm waiting to hear back, but I'll post what they say, if you'll post what Dr. Myers says :)

edit to add> FYI: Just spoke with the director of admissions at MCW. This is what he told me:

The letter simply needs to be verification that you are in the program and in good standing and that they are aware you are applying (just like it says on the secodary... :) ). He also said this could simply be your letter of recommendation that we will receive from our advisor during the course of the year (as long as it includes the above information) or a separate, second letter. So the impression I get, is it doesn't really matter whose name we use at this point. Just so long as we give them the proper name at some point before we submit the letter.

I e-mailed Ms. Cabiness at Georgetown, and she said to use Dr. Mulroney's name, so that's what I did.
