It is masseter, for sure.

This is what I found on the net:

"It is claimed that the strongest muscle in terms of force applied per unit area is the masseter, the chewer muscle. Pressures to the tune of 122 kg or 270 pounds have been mentioned for force of bite of human molars. In dogs while chewing bones pressures of some 165 kg. are generated according to some researchers.

For further details you may visit the site - http://www.nti-tss.ca/refrnce.htm#B especially following references - Masseters are the strongest muscles of mastication in herbivores. "Function and Morphology of the Temporomandibular Joint According to Eating Habits" from Anatomical Atlas of the Temporomandibular Joint, Y. Ide, K. Nadazawa, Quintessence 1991. In carnivores the temporalis is the strongest and most efficient muscle of mastication. The ratio of neuron to muscle fiber is 1:900"

So I guess it depends If you are a carnivore or a herbivore.
