indeed its a very good GPA.but frankly its not the only criteria of ur selection in a dental school thouits one of them.the most IMPORTANT criteria in ur NBDE part1 score.

if it is from ECE then it is a very good GPA...Do not worry

does a good gpa give u an edge over other candidates?do u think with a gpa of 3.71 i shud expect gud standing?ppl say that ur gpa indicates alot abt urself..i have worked hard in india in school..i wonder wot my scope is over here in usa.. :p

yes gives u an edge but it is not the only thing thats going to get u in to schools.

i think ur nbde scores,toefl and ur inetrview r important too .someone correct me if im wrong

when i had posted my question i was sure i would get some replies..thankyou everyone for guiding me and helping me regarding my score..indeed 3.71 is an average score and other factors also influence..thankyou anyway..more comments welcomed.. :p

3.71 is a good GPA,it will definitely put you in good standing but as far as i have understood the whole process, ur nbde scores + interviews+ most importantly ur essays will really make a whole lot of difference. good luck!
