hiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
i think as you said because your denture is new you have this feeling, try to not to have very hard food for sometime like 2-3 weeks. then try to have some candy during the day it helps you to keep swaloing your saliva and helps you to get used to your denture faster.if after doing all this you could not get used to it there may be some slight high point that should be reduced.
about cleaning tablet in us i dont know but in Iran where am Fitty dent company and correga company itroduced cleaning tablet which both are good.
i hope i could have helped you.
wish you all the best.

Thanks for your reply.. another question. Is it nessary to use special toothpaste for dentures. They say ordinary toothpaste may scratch your dentures is this true?

hiiiiiiiiiiiiiii again;
actually you dont need to use tooth paste to clean your dentures, it can be cleaned with soap or any cleaner liquid or only water with the help of a big brush. the only thing is your denture should not get dry , it should be kept in a clean water in case it is out of your mouth.
i hope i could have helped you.

I found dentures to be so expensive I wanted to make sure that I protect my investment. Ive asked my cousin on what she uses, and she has had her dentures for 10 years, now they say to change them after 5 but my cousin dentures fit so well and have only started to discolor this pass year I figure she must be doing something right.

I however dont brush them in water. I soak them over night in polident tablet to keep them white and clean, Then I will brush my dentures on denture cleaner toothpaste. I do brush my gums and tongue with ordinary toothpaste to get rid of plaque that can form on your gums(so im told). Im still getting used to having the dentures, I have some trouble eating but because of my tmj I have to stick to soft foods and they kind of stick to my dentures and move them around, I want to try either the powder or liner to see what will keep my dentures in place. Can you help me with this?
