The PS section was pretty easy and so was the Bio section. The verbal was something else though. It was as if they said we will give you the science but screw you over lovely on the verbal. I am a minority who does not read most of the content tested in the verbal so this crap gets me all the time; when it is made even more difficult - forget about it. I felt as if I guessed every damn question on the verbal - not a good feeling. I feel good about the science.

You are not alone on verbal. I got form CM and my verbal was the hardest test I have ever seen. I kept on having to re-read the passage over and over until I ran out of time having to guess on about three paragraph. PS and BS was OK. I hope that they curve the Verbal because I am going to need it.

Alright I had DK last time around and this was I feel a vast improvement (fingers crossed) on that miserable test form. But who knows for all we know the MCAT guys in Iowa City head on down to BoJames with a list of names and a bunch of quarters and just throw darts and add up the score and thats what you get. That said...
PS: Wasn't terrible I actually felt this was some what well distributed hitting basic kinematics, momentum and energy conservation, photoelectric effect, thermochem, acid/base and solution chemistry. One difficult passage with five questions was all that I felt uneasy about and a couple of the free-standing questions.
VR: On the difficult side, some very long and VERY MONOTONOUS passages, I'm fairly well-read and I just found the passages on this form to be boring as hell. I don't recall topology being a med school pre-req but hey...nor do many pre-med majors have time to full comprehend Kant...so whats the logical thing to do oh ask 10 out of 60 questions on that topic...bastards. The rest was doable but very very boring and long. If the euclidean geometry passage was an experimental this probably went alright if not I'm gonna be pissed cause this will be my lowest subsection.
BS: What a joke and the perfect example of how skewed the MCAT can be, 2 easier o-chem passages totally maybe 10 questions and 3 or 4 stand alones that were remedial at best (seriously). The rest was essentially a primer in the molecular genetics of disease. We got to read about immunohistochem, molecular basis of disease, the use of model organisms, culture of model organisms. Having been involved in heavy biochem/molecular research (I'm currently taking a break while applying at CSHL) probably found this section to be very simplistic and easy. I truly think this section was a little unfair because I realize that the majority of pre-meds are not involved in big time research thus the passage distribution may have been unfair. Although I do think this was a great slap in the face of Kaplan and all the other test prep companies that spend the majority of time on physiology, because honestly this stuff would have come from coursework and experience in the lab not from forking over 1000's of dollars. Honestly, if your going into medicine and you don't understand the molecular basis of life start learning because the field is going to be changing fast with the advent of molecular medicine so maybe this section was justified who knows...
All and all it was ok, but once again who the hell knows how it will end up.
