View Full Version : Pharmacy schools look at HS transcript? aurovon 08-23-2005, 09:13 AM Okay this never crossed my mind(i tried to do a search but it was not working) do Pharm schools ask one to turn in their HS transcript? I'd think that the only pharmacy schools that care about your high school grades would be the ones that accept primarily high school grads (eg: St. Louis University - with a 6 yr program). aurovon 08-23-2005, 09:51 AM Ah..that makes sense. Thanks! ICA 08-23-2005, 01:17 PM Some schools require a HS transcript if you are planning to use AP credits earned in HS (ie, advanced placement calculus) to satisfy pharm prerequisites. Not all schools accept AP credits so be sure to contact your school regarding their requirements. letjin 08-23-2005, 08:39 PM PharmCAS only cares about your college classes. I'd think that the only pharmacy schools that care about your high school grades would be the ones that accept primarily high school grads (eg: St. Louis University - with a 6 yr program). Just so that people don't confuse- St. Louis University (SLU) DO NOT HAVE a pharmacy program. If there is a pharmacy school in St. Louis, it's St. Louis College of Pharmacy - which is entirely different, freestanding private college of pharmacy. gablet 08-23-2005, 10:18 PM You are right, it is not SLU. |
