This is for all you folks who are applying to pharmacy school who have worked or invested a few years in a previous career (that most likely corresponded to their first degree). Do you ever cringe when you think of going back to school for the next 4 years? Are we absolutely crazy to be giving up a lucrative career for more school? Doing all these apps made me think about this.

i've been doing chemical engineering for three years, and i invested 5 years trying to get that degree. now here i am trying to start over as a pharmacist. we'll see how it goes. if i don't get in, i can fall back on my engineering skills for another year.

Ok, this makes me feel a little better. It's just hard to do this when all my friends are still working their engineering jobs and thinking I'm crazy for going back to school. But as long as there are others like me!
