For the ERAS CAF/CV, there's a box to write why you left volunteer/research activities and jobs. Are you supposed to fill this out for all activities? I'm just wondering because for things like a summer research project, leaving at the end of the summer doesn't seem like it should have to be explained. :) For volunteer activities in the pre-clinical years, it doesn't seem like it would require an explaination of why they ended when third year began. So I was just wondering if people were only putting reasons for leaving for jobs or activities when they left in the middle of the year or something, or if there should be a note about everything?

Thanks for humoring my dumb question! I appreciate any help :)

I am wondering the exact same thing....Do we really have to give a REASON FOR LEAVING?
Also, is it necessary to give a description of each work experience, volunteer experience, etc.?

Can anyone help with this question? I know it's silly but I appreciate the help!

I chose to write "Summer term" for a reason to leave for my summer experiences and "Pre-clinical experience" for things I could not do after third year began...yes, it seems obvious. But I just got annoyed by all the "You left 'Reason for leaving' blank" warnings...

i just left it blank...i thought it was pretty obvious. if they ask me during the interviews , that's wht i'll say. I mean anyone with a pion of sense realizes well if the follwoing activity was done July 2oo4-August 2004 ...its likely to be a summer activity

I just left it blank, too....I dont think it's much of a big deal, and it's too much work to try to think of what to write down as reason for leaving..
There's so much else we need to be working on!!!
