I'm an R2, just getting started with my HNS training. Thus far this year I've mostly been reading from Current Diagnosis and Treatment in Otolaryngology as well as numerous emedicine articles.
I'm thinking it's time to start shopping at least for an atlas, and possibly some more in depth texts. What do folks out there like?

I like Cummings for a good general text. I don't think that there is a perfect atlas out there, but Myers is pretty good. Lore is OK, but some of it is dated (rhinoplasty, eg). Silver is an excellent atlas just for H&N. The Coker/Jenkins otology atlas has many good descriptions. Bailey's atlas is OK, but is missing many procedures I would like to see in a general atlas.

I'm not ENT, but I like that Lore atlas for a quick and dirty overview of procedures. I don't own it because it's in our library, but it's a lot cheaper than you would think for such a big book. I think around $215 on Amazon.
