I am thinking about applying to schools in IRE/UK and am wondering what the absolute first steps are for each country. I am a US citizen and I have a 3.3 graduate GPA and 27 MCAT scores. Questions include:

-do i have a chance

-what is a limit to how many schools i can apply to in IRE/UK

-website to start my application to both countries

-website to look at UK medical universities so i can narrow down that list (IRE is easier in that they have only 4 schools)

-deadlines

-total years of study

I applied to Royal Collage of Surgeons (www.rcsi.ie) as an Australian post graduate student. All that i needed to do was submit my CV (with uni scores ect). Then i sat an interview. Was offered a place and now i start in October. Was a very easy process to follow. Check out their website. RCSI was in my opinion the easiest application process i have been involved in, including my own country Australia.
