Is there a way to view the actual LoR posted on ERAS? I just want to make sure that the correct LoR has been uploaded for each letter writer.
I was also hoping to preview some of the LoR's that may come in for me while away on a rotation.
Anyone have any ideas on this???
Thanks

as far as i know, you cannot see them. the only chance to see them is before you send them off, unless you waive your right to see.
i wonder if they do ever screw up and upload them incorrectly...that would suck.

No, there is no way to view the letter through ERAS. Many people (especially those going into competitive specialties) waive their right to see the letters in order for them to be taken more seriously. The only way to see it would be to ask the author (assuming you did not waive your rights).

Relax. The programs sees the name you assigned to the letter and the program sees the name on the letter itself. If they do are not the same, then they will figure out that someone in your dean's office made a mistake.

So you are saying that if you submit the LOR as an "open" letter then you should be able to read the letter when it is uploaded?

there is absolutely no way to view any LOr on ERAS
go to your school's office that has them on file to see them
