I have a question about the responsibilities of an Army FP vs. an Army IM. What is the difference as far as inpatient care load, call?
Just thinking which one would have a better lifestyle after residency and during payback. If any one wants to compare FP vs. IM then have at it.

It varies from place to place; from what I have seen, FP docs generally have a busier outpatient clinic, but fewer inpatient/call responsibilities. Both specialties are highly deployable. Also, remember that subspecialization generally requires an IM residency.
