Does anyone know there are certain residency applicants that need to take Step 3 or if there are certain states that require it?
I don't know if I should be planning on taking this because no one ever talks about it.

You have to take it to be a licensed physician. It is usually taken during your first year of residency.

Do you need to have Step 2 scores back BEFORE you apply for the match? Or can you apply and be in the window for one part of Step 2??

some programs require a step 2 score to apply/interview/be ranked, others don't
