Where's the best place for a male to get a professional military haircut in or around Bethesda, MD? I have a military ID, in case you want to recommend an on base barbershop.

It might seem like a stupid question, but I've found barbers can really vary and this is one time that I want a decent haircut. Anyone?

There are two Italian guys on the bottom floor of the navy hospital- they do a horrible job, and leave lines in your hair. Definitely do not recommend them.

There is a barber shop on the third floor at Walter Reed, sort of around the corner from the cafeteria, they do a great job in there, and it's like 6 bucks. Easy to get your hair cut during the workday.

He's right the italian guys stink. But the asian guy isn't too bad. I was just there the other day. the asian guy had 3 ppl waiting for him. the two other guys were sitting around watching TV because no one wanted them.

DITTO! One time after a really bad hair cut I just went home and shaved it off.....YEP, it was that bad. Avoid the italians like the plague. I just ended up going to a haircuttery in Wheaton Plaza and the guy would do a great job but he's gone and Wheaton isn't Bethesda. :D

Definately agree on the Italian Guys at NNMC, I also avoid the barbershop at the NEX on NNMC, but several classmates go to the female barber there and like her. However, you have to go for Philip, "the asian guy". I'm one of his regulars, and he's great, even gives a nice little head massage at the end....sorry, no happy ending. It's 7.50 for the cut. The barbershop is located in the bottom floor of the main hospital near the food court/subway/post office/uniform shop.

I'm not so sure about the guys at WRAMC, there are two places there. One on the third floor in the northwest corner, near the PX. The other one is in Bldg 1 somewhere.

I know a place in SE you could get your hair cut....
