Long Dong 09-27-2005, 11:44 PM Sorry haven't responded to email but my bol account is acting up so here try this website:

As for why some stuff won't play on your ipod is because I think the bit rate settings, you have to adjust it. Personnally I use a samsung mp3 player it plays wav, wma, ogg, and mp3 at all kinds of different rates. I think ipods are overated and overpriced.

I agree, I had one of those new tiny Samsungs and it would play anything.
Anyone know how to convert these audio resources into...
If you still haven't figured out how to convert try a program called Goldwave. It will require that you know how to "open" a file and "save as."

for goljan, i had the same problem... but i found that if i right-click the file in itunes and do "convert to mp3", then i can then put the converted files on my ipod... hope that helps! :)
DOctorJay 10-13-2005, 08:20 AM I had this problem as well, click on the file and look at the file properties. It will most likely be an mpeg 2 file, you need it to be in mpeg 1 format. I personally used musicmatch jukebox to convert into the mpeg1 format. this will make the files much larger but if you're putting them on an ipod it shouldn't matter too much anyway. I'm not sure how to do this on itunes as I just got my ipod nano Monday from my sugar mama.
good luck,
-J

I can take it  But come on, you can't compare my Q's to "how to convert mp3?"!!! If at the very least, my Q's clear some of the board of all the Goljanitis....
 hmmm....
Maybe a sticky could be made for Goljan FAQs b/c it's the same Q's every week...

If it bothers you so much, DON'T CLICK ON THE THREAD!
For the OP, put your song into your iTunes library and convert it to AAC.

Your late...I already conceded. But obviously you didn't READ any of the replies, because not only was my error redressed, but there are no less than 6 solutions to the problem(2 that already provided the same advice you did).
Wait...what's that....
If you still haven't figured out how to convert try a program called Goldwave.
Hmmm...looks like one of the solutions was even submitted by yours truly....18 DAYS AGO. Next time you wanna play, how about showing up on time?

You've REALLY never heard of JoJo? Lucky you. She had several videos on MTV back when teen divas were "all the rage"...you know, way back in like 2003. I had an ex-roommate, Hugh G. Vulva (alias to protect his identity), and he had several of her .mp3's.
Don't worry TY06, he didn't know how to convert them either. ;)
