I was wondering, after you get accepted you are expected to maintain decent grades, especially in the pre-requisites. So, say you get an acceptance but the next summer, just before you matriculate you pull a C- or D+ in a physics class. Would you then have to forfeit your seat, or do schools generally overlook those things if your gpa is decent?

I am assuming you are talking about pre-req courses. A "D" = no credit, therefore you did not complete the pre-reqs and you cannot matriculate.

The reason I ask is I know 2 people that got C-'s in Ochem and still matriculated even though the schools said you have to get at least a C. One got into Scholls and I can't remember the other.

I dont think that the schools care about the plus/minus system considering many undergraduate institutions dont use it. As long as you get a C +/- or better after you are accepted.

Some schools WILL NOT even grant you an interview until you have completed the pre-requisites.
