I am a dutch medical student and I need your help to make a few things clear please.

As I want to move to the UK after my housejob, I would like to know more about the medical education system in England.

The Dutch medical edu. system is as follow:

4 years of medical theory at the university
2 years of clinical experience (housejob? internship? what do you call it?) in hospitals
after these 6 years, you are a "basic-docter" and you could specialise in a field of your
choice.

I would like to know how the British medical education system looks like, which fases you have to go through to become a doctor, etc.

What are the chances to get a residency after internship/housejob in the UK for a Dutch doctor?

You really need to apply for Foundation Year 2 posts, though at present there are few standalone F2 posts. These are advertised in the UK medical press in February onwards I believe. You need to complete the Foundation Programme before you can gain entry to Specialist training in the UK.
