OK, I am a high school senior in Orange Park, Florida. I am wanting to get a job at a pharmacy nearby where I live, to start gaining experience in the pharmacy as I go through college. Do I need a special degree in order to work in one? Can I get it easily if necessary? Help, as far as what I need to do, would be greatly appreciated.

If you have someone( friend ) working in the pharmacy(retail) then you probably don't need anything. I would suggest to just go fill out applications wherever you can. you might get lucky and end up getting the job as tech. Pharmacy technician certificates will get you the job as a Tech. In order to get that you have to take a standardize test which is hard if you don't have any pharmacy experience. I have friends who got jobs as tech without any experience and didn't know anything about drugs when they started the work.
It's about getting lucky or prooving your talent(Passing Tech exam). i am taking the exam in NOV and have no experience yet.
