I have a couple questions regarding applications and interviews.

I have been told that by now, most interviews have been granted to applicants. Is this true?

And also, is it to late for me to apply to programs? I am not referring to deadlines, since many programs have nov/dec cutoff dates. What I mean is, do the programs still consider newly received applications and grant interviews for new applicants at this juncture?

Yes, programs will still consider you if you apply now (even those that have tendered some interview offers already).
