Ok, so I heard that Pathology is the most represented area on the USMLE. Do all of the Pathology questions on the USMLE have accompanying slides? If not, what is the approximate percentage that do? Is it often possible to get a good idea of the possible answers just with the slide?

The slide will never give you the answer, IMHO.

On my USMLE, I had three totally different questions regarding three different pathological processes, all represented by the same gross anatomical picture of a kidney specimen.

I really didnt have that many pictures, honestly. Maybe 15 total. Pathology, on the whole, is helpful in about 70% of questions. At least my pathology course was.

I had less than 10 pictures (not graphs and all that crap but actual photos of tissue) and I think I could answer all but one w/o looking at the photo. There was one straight up what type of tumor is shown in the picture and it was a histology slide but it was pretty obvious.
