UF Jax just emailed everyone inviting us for an interview... then 30 minutes later rescinded the invites.

Mount Sinai school of medicine sent me an itinerary for an interview day with them, even though they never offered me an interview. shortly thereafter, they sent another message (both thru ERAS) saying that the itinerary was sent in error, and that my application is still being reviewed.

I also got "my" itinerary from Mount Sinai. Now you see it / now you don't!

It's extremely unprofessional. Now I doubt I'd invest the travel money to visit even if I was invited.

I got the same thing from mount sinai....extremely unprofessional....don't know if I will go to the interview even if they offer me one.

i got the same thing from sinai also...freaked me out since nov 7th is only like 3 days away...anyway, don't be so hard on the programs guys...you know im sure some nice little coordinator has the job of sending these emails, and might have clicked the wrong button...she was rather quick to rectify...anyway hope everything goes well with everyone here

I acceditenally applied to two programs, UCSF-fresno thinking it was UCSF, and Rochester General Hospital thinking it was University of Rochester. I got interviews at both places and only then realized my error. I wouldn't be so hard on the school, as they have hundreds to thousands of applications to keep straight and I find it hard to keep 30 or so.

it happened to me too...i was so psyched at first...but then I was like, this MOnday? ur kidding right?

and then I got the retraction...I think they emailed everyone on their mailing list :rolleyes: I was really sad after that :(
